  • Maintain observability and feedback mechanisms for security signals within production systems.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery and incident response strategies with a focus on application-level resilience.
  • Share your knowledge and mentor colleagues in security engineering, fostering a culture of curiosity and collective ownership.

This position is part of a team revolutionizing security practices at scale, delivering automation and safeguards that shape secure application development across Target.

  • Strong grasp of open-source dependencies, supply chain risks, and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) techniques.
  • Familiarity with SAST / DAST tools, with the ability to translate findings into actionable repairs.
  • Practical experience in security code reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Proven record of embedding security into developer workflows while enhancing the developer experience.
  • Passion for remaining updated on security trends, tools, and developer-centric security models.
  • Preferred but not required : security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, OSCP, GIAC, CompTIA Security+, or related expertise.
  • This position will operate under a Hybrid / Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's requirements.
