Job Summary :
Provides administrative support to the Academic Operations Manager, Administrative Staff, and other activities and special projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide clerical support including hard copy and e-document filing, word-processing, sorting mail, and copying.
- Maintain spreadsheets and databases as assigned. Perform basic data entry tasks.
- Update student, instructor, and other information as needed.
- Maintain program and department information.
- Screen historical files and prepare for archiving.
- Perform various other administrative tasks to assist the manager and administrative staff. Provide occasional support for the Provost and faculty when needed.
- Serve as a note-taker at staff meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Minimum Qualifications :
- Enrollment in a City University degree program is required. Enrollment in a graduate program preferred.
- Must demonstrate a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and organizational and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision, effectively prioritize work, multi-task, and adjust to changing workloads and deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse student, staff, and faculty populations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

This is a part-time (19.5 hours per week) student position.
Salary :
This position pays a minimum wage of $19.97 per hour.
