Pro Inside Sales Manager

Job Description

Solicit profitable and growing sales for Peerless-AV products to customers and prospects via telephone, WebEx and email communications.

Sourcing new opportunities through show leads, SCN Top 50 and other venues. Routing qualified opportunities to proper channels.

HYBRID POSITION : This position is eligible to participate in Peerless-AV’s Hybrid Work Model.

QUALIFICATIONS : Education :

Education :

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience :

At least two years in a Customer Service / Telesales position.

Skills / Abilities :

• Effective writing skills
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
• Highly self-motivated, high energy, strong work ethic
• Well-developed people skills and can work well with others
• Good judgment, positive mental attitude
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• High personal integrity in work and social interactions

ESSENTIAL RESULTS :

• Solicit new accounts, secure orders, and follow-up on leads through effective use of all sales tools available via phone or email.
• Meet sales objectives set by management.
• Follow up with the new-account set-up by calling new dealers to establish a buying relationship.
• Establish telephone contact with dealers that are new, inactive, on POS reports, or smaller, guiding them towards purchasing Peerless-AV products.
• Prospect with opportunities in vertical markets, trade shows, or channels of distribution.
• Periodic travel as needed for trade shows, account events and face to face account meetings.
• Work with sales management when special projects are needed.
• Keep updated records of meaningful sales contacts in Salesforce.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge of Peerless-AV products and services.
• Keep management informed of significant activity through regular verbal and email communication.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Aware of the Quality & Environmental Policies & Objectives and understand your role & contribution towards these goals and how activities in your area contribute towards these objectives.
• QMS & EMS Master List aware where to find documented policies, procedures & instructions
• Aware of Significant Environmental Aspects & Impacts (Environmental MGT System)
• Understand Environmental Compliance obligations & implications for non-complying
• Proper MGT & handling of Hazardous & non-hazardous Waste , including recycling.
• Participate & support Peerless Emergency Preparedness & response plan.
• Contribute toward EMS & QMS initiatives & improvements to support QMS & EMS Goals & Objectives.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

• Professional, business / office setting.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (constant computer-based work).
• Occasionally entering plant / warehouse (can range in temperature, humidity and dust levels).
• Occasional bending (at knees) or lifting boxes / packages 2-30 lbs.
• Must be able to wear required safety PPE.
