We are looking for National Operation Center (NOC) - Estimator Interns. This is a hybrid position based out of the following locations : Cincinnati, OH, Houston, TX or Orlando, FL.
Internship Program Start Dates : May 18, June 1, June 8, or June 15, 2026 .
Our Estimator Interns focus on estimating, pricing, and generating proposals, which ultimately drive the business's growth.
Responsibilities working alongside current Estimating Supervisors and Subject Matter Experts (SME's) :
Prepare scope of works, estimates, and proposals for NOC projects to the sales executives.
Interpret customer requirements as communicated in plans and specifications.
Learn and understand Building Automation Systems, Fire / Life Safety Systems and Security Systems.
Evaluate material and pricing that meet specifications as well as preparing communications for external vendor pricing.
What you will do as a Siemens National Operations Center (NOC) Estimator Intern :
This internship is a 10-12 week program where you will rotate through various departments focusing on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure.
80% of your time will be spent as an Estimator understanding the overall aspects of the role and related activities.
20% of your time with be spent with the Automation Design Engineering team to understand the relevance and needs of interactions between the two departments.
You may get experience rotating through our core business segments, which include HVAC, Fire / Life Safety and Security Systems.
The goal of this internship program is to develop future talent for the Siemens organization and help you identify where you may be interested in pursuing a career at Siemens post-graduation.
To apply for the Estimating Internship Program, candidates must meet the following requirements :
Must have a high school diploma or state-recognized GED
Graduation Dates : May 2027 - August 2028
Availability : Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-12 week program (May-July or June - August)
Qualified candidates must be able to work in a hybrid (combination of on-site / remote) work environment in the Greater Areas of Cincinnati, OH, Houston, TX, or Orlando, FL
Relocation : Must be willing and able to work at the location on-site and surrounding local area. There is no relocation or housing stipend for this program
Work Authorization : Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company or school sponsorship. This program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well as OPT / CPT.
Additional Requirements of all applicants for the Estimating Internship :
Must be able to use a laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet
Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook). Skilled in using Windows laptops and adept at learning new software for programming and troubleshooting automation equipment.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
