Business Development Leaders : Claims Solutions, Life & Health, and Risk Services

We are hiring three experienced Business Development Leaders, each dedicated to one of the following service lines : Claims Solutions (Workers' Compensation and Liability Administration) Life & Health Administration Risk Services (Loss Control). In this role, you'll develop and execute strategic growth plans, build trusted partnerships with clients and industry stakeholders, and represent Davies' full suite of capabilities that include TPA services, managed care, life and health administration, and risk consulting. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, delivering tailored solutions, and driving measurable results across your area of expertise. You will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for expanding Davies' footprint, strengthening client relationships, and enhancing the company's market presence.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Develop and execute tailored business development strategies for your assigned service line, aligned with Davies' overall growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with insureds, brokers, carriers, program administrators, and other key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring delivery aligns with commitments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and service delivery to design client-specific solutions and maintain consistent messaging.
  • Represent Davies at industry events, conferences, and panels, contributing to thought leadership and brand visibility within your market segment.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments relevant to your service area to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to shape go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and business plans that drive sustainable growth.
  • Leverage cross-sell opportunities across Davies' full portfolio to deliver integrated solutions that meet evolving client needs.

Skills, knowledge & expertise required include :

  • Proven success in business development, sales, or account management within insurance, claims, risk services, workers compensation or life and health administration.
  • Strong professional network and credibility to open doors and build trust with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of claims operations, risk consulting, loss control, disability / LTC insurance, and client experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both in-person and virtually.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth, innovation, and building new opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams, managing competing priorities, and driving results.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and internal collaboration.
