Overview
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to support electrical design efforts on multidisciplinary building design projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation who is eager to grow toward professional licensure and take on increasing project responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the electrical design of commercial building projects under the guidance of a licensed PE.
- Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and reports using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Support lighting calculations, load analysis, fault current, voltage drop, and protection studies.
- Conduct code research, coordinate with permitting agencies, and participate in plan reviews and field inspections.
- Review contractor submittals and respond to RFIs with oversight from senior engineers.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
- Participate in internal and client meetings, presenting technical information and learning client-facing skills.
