In this position, you'll :
- Implement value stream mapping and optimize waste streams
- Own LMM implementation and workgroup engagement
- Analyze and improve standard work and spider diagrams
- Conduct gap analysis to engineer running capacity and implement improvements
- Manage vehicle inventory with first run capability vs MTTR analysis
- Focus on waste elimination at the workstation level
You'll have :
High school diploma or GED requiredBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, production engineering, or industrial / process improvement rolesProven experience leading flow optimization initiatives in a high-volume final assembly environmentDemonstrated expertise applying lean manufacturing principlesTechnical skills include :
Strong data analytics capabilitiesSolid understanding of final assembly production processesIn-depth knowledge of the Quality Operating System (QOS)Working knowledge of end-of-line (EOL) testing proceduresExperience conducting time studies and bottleneck analysisFamiliarity with process control methodologies (SPC)Leadership and collaboration skills include :
Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional partnersDemonstrated success driving continuous improvement and change management initiativesExcellent project management skillsStrong communication skillsBehavioral competencies include :
