Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor for Lorain In-Home, the Therapeutic Behavioral Service (TBS) Worker provides Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients, their families, and / or family members as needed. They will work with clients in community, school, and home settings to provide support – including education, consultation, linkage, and skill building – for the client, parents and / or caregivers, case coordination, and symptom management and monitoring. Provide therapeutic behavioral services and documentation thereof, including but not limited to : treatment planning support, including education and consultation for families regarding the client’s mental illness case management symptom monitoring and self-management of symptoms assistance in increasing social support skills and networks referral and linkage to other healthcare, behavioral health care, and non-health care services access to resources in the community skills building client transportation Report all incidents and documents the same day to Clinical Supervisor. Provides required amount of delivery hours per week for this position. Work a flexible work-week which can include evenings to meet clients and families’ needs. Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution and process discussions with clients on an assigned and an as needed basis. Collaborate with other treatment team members regarding treatment planning, progress, and ongoing needs in a timely and consistent manner. Attendance to staffing needs, as necessary for youth and family. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards. Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training. All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards. Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by management. Education : Minimum High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred. Core Expertise : Possess skill, knowledge and abilities to perform the essential duties of their role; keeps knowledge up to date. Demonstrate ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. Demonstrate awareness, sensitivity and skills in working professionally with diverse individuals, groups and communities who represent various cultural and personal background and characteristics. Communicate clearly using verbal, nonverbal, and written skills in a professional context; demonstrates clear understanding and use of professional language. Adhere to professional values such as honesty, personal responsibility, and accountability; Applies ethical concepts within scope of work and adheres to Agency policies and procedures. Function effectively as a member of a professional team that includes employees, clients and family members. Recognize problems and responds appropriately; gathers information and sorts through it to identify and address root cause issues; makes timely decisions. Anticipate, recognize, and meet the needs of others, whether they are clients or not. Demonstrate competence in utilizing Agency computer systems and software as required to perform essential job functions. Experience working with children, adolescents and their families. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agency’s insurance company. Must be approved by Bellefaire to transport clients in agency and / or own vehicle. The annual salary range for this position is $38,000 - $45,000 per year depending on relevant education, experience and licensure. At Bellefaire, we prioritize our employees and their wellbeing.
