Job descriptionBachelor's in Civil Engineering 5+ years of civil engineering experience, 3+ years in land development Proficiency in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office 360 K-12 site design experience is a plus Knowledge of zoning, permitting, and sustainable design practices Must live within 2 hours of Rochester Hills, MI Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off and tuition reimbursement Life insurance and health savings account Bonus and signing bonus opportunities
We are seeking a Land Development Engineer to lead civil design for K-12 schools, commercial, retail, and institutional projects. This role includes stormwater management, utility design, permitting, and collaboration with architects, developers, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead design, calculations, and project drawings
- Prepare engineering analysis, reports, and stormwater designs
- Manage permitting and agency approvals
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress
- Mentor junior staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
