Nami Nori is looking for a highly motivated Floor Manager / Maitre D to lead the team in our flagship location in the West Village! This will be a salaried position, 4 days a week. Weekend and evening availability is required. As Maitre D you will oversee the guest relations and host team. This is a managerial role with associated responsibilities.

Oversee all aspects of daily operations of the restaurantBuild and maintain guest relationships, curate VIP experiences, and manage ongoing correspondence through email and review platformsTrain, coach, and develop a team of high performing staff by exemplifying our Core ValuesManage facilities maintenance, following checklists and communicating issues in real time, following proper protocolsMaintain an A letter grade from the DOH and confirm the all FOH and BOH management conduct DOH walk-throughs to ensure DOH complianceDrive salesmanship in service, working to maximize top line sales for every meal periodFacilitate on-going training and development of current staff and management to ensure that all team members are educated on Nami Nori products and servicesBuild morale and team loyalty by fostering a work environment where team members’ input is valued and encouragedWHO WE ARE :

This position is responsible for leading the Front of House (FOH) team members at both Nami Nori West Village and Postcard in running an efficient and profitable operation, managing day-to-day store operations, maintaining high service standards and conditions and fostering a positive environment.
