Job Summary :

The Training & HR Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering employee training programs—including MANDT, CPR, and other compliance-based initiatives—while also supporting key human resources functions. This position ensures that staff are trained to meet state, regulatory, and organizational requirements and provides HR support in areas such as FMLA, short-term disability, and workers’ compensation claims. The coordinator plays a vital role in promoting workforce readiness, employee well-being, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

Training & Development

  • Coordinate and deliver employee training programs, including MANDT, CPR, and other compliance training.
  • Maintain accurate training records and track certification renewals for all employees.
  • Schedule training sessions and ensure timely completion of required courses.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and leadership to identify training gaps and implement development solutions.
  • Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and update materials as needed.

Human Resources Support

  • Administer and track employee leave under FMLA in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Process and monitor short-term disability claims, serving as a liaison between employees and insurance providers.
  • Manage workers’ compensation claims, including reporting, follow-up, and return-to-work coordination.
  • Maintain confidential employee records related to leave, benefits, and claims.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures related to leave and claims management.

    Perform other related duties and additional tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications :

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Certification as a MANDT Instructor and CPR Instructor (or ability to obtain within specified timeframe).
  • Prior experience in HR functions such as FMLA, leave administration, or workers’ compensation strongly preferred.
  • Previous training or staff development experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

    Work Schedule :

  • Full-time, Monday - Thursday 9am- 5 : 30pm, Friday 8 : 30am - 5pm, flexibility required to accommodate training sessions.

  • Must be able to develop clear written correspondence and determine accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.

  • Must be able to operate computers and other equipment necessary for the discharge of the duties of the job.
  • Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
