Parental Choice Tax Credit Project Manager- Innovation

Salary Range- $70,000.00 - $80,000.00

GENERAL FUNCTION

We are seeking a Project Manager who is highly organized, detail oriented, and a strong communicator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of the Parental Choice Tax Credit Program.

TYPICAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop detailed project plan to guide project team, staff members and external vendors; revising based on changing needs and requirements
  • Create breakout timeline of tasks needed for completion including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Monitor project performance and ensure timely delivery
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal division support teams working on the project
  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options on how to proceed with the project
  • Facilitate meetings between the agency and vendor, documenting decisions made and action items needed by the agency
  • Compiling and submitting project status reports to management and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate and lead working meetings with internal stakeholders on the project
  • Continuously communicate with executive leadership surrounding project health and provide potential solutions to any risks identified within the project
  • Work effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • 4+ years working in a project implementation role
  • Previous tax or government knowledge a plus

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Core work hours for the Oklahoma Tax Commission are Monday through Friday, 7 : 30am to 4 : 30pm. This schedule may require minor flexibility based on the needs of the agency.

Telework may be required based on the needs of the agency, division, and section. If applicable, applicant must be willing and able to BOTH work on-site and telework at an off-site location, generally in the applicant’s home.

Applicant must have a secure internet connection and a dedicated telephone (landline) or smart phone device during scheduled working hours.
