Job descriptionLocation Type : Onsite Employment Type : Temp-to-hire Manually fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules according to order requirements. Retrieve, verify, and process medications from labeled shelves using computer-generated screens. Replenish medication in automated dispensing cells by opening and processing large quantities of bottles and cases. Accurately count or calculate medication quantities using basic mathematical reasoning. Use handheld scanners to track and confirm product replenishment. Maintain focus and precision while performing repetitive tasks with accuracy. Recognize and escalate issues promptly to ensure continuous workflow. Keep the pharmacy area clean, organized, and compliant with company standards. Adhere to HIPAA and all state / federal pharmacy regulations to protect patient privacy. Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring documentation is accurate. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company-supported hardware / software for 100% order accuracy. Participate in housekeeping duties and other assigned tasks as needed. Uphold the company’s principles and commitment to quality and safety. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and consistently handle 20–30 lbs of merchandise Able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day Requires frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and grasping Basic math, reading, and writing skills Visual acuity for reading computer screens, scanners, and labels Working knowledge of pharmacy operations and professional standards Good computer skills and attention to detail Warehouse or production experience preferred Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Pharmacy Technician license not required in NYS Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment 401(k) with company match available for full-time employees after 1 year of service

Pharmacy Support Associate Highlights
- Pay Rate : $17.50 per hour
- Schedule : Part-time (24–32 hours per week)
– Friday : 9 : 00am–5 : 30pm (Mandatory)
– Sunday : 9 : 00am–5 : 30pm (Mandatory)
– Monday : 9 : 00am–2 : 00pm
– Tuesday : 9 : 00am–2 : 00pm
– Wednesday : 9 : 00am–2 : 00pm
Job Summary
The Pharmacy Support Associate accurately and efficiently fills prescription requests in an automated refill setting. Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, this role prepares, packages, sorts, and distributes medications in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate maintains accuracy, attention to detail, and consistent workflow while meeting daily production goals.
