DC Licensed Nonprofit Attorney

A company is looking for an Exempt Organization (EO) Senior Attorney / Of Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal guidance on nonprofit formation and tax exemption maintenance

Assist with nonprofit governance and compliance with lobbying and political activities

Represent clients before state and federal regulatory agencies governing nonprofits

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Minimum of 7 years of nonprofit law experience

Member of or eligible for admission to the DC Bar

Strong academic credentials

Ability to manage multiple client requests effectively

Experience with nonprofit-related legal issues is preferred
