Cross Country Education is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support our client, a School District near Montebello, CA for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a onsite school-based position with a thriving and innovative school district, providing consultation, functional behavior assessments, staff training, and ongoing support for students exhibiting behavioral challenges.

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Grade Level : K-12
  • Location : Montebello, CA – ON SITE
  • Schedule : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM | Monday–Friday
  • Estimated Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025
  • Compensation : $63 per hour + $2,000 Bonus
  • Hours Per Week : 40 Guaranteed
  • Estimated Annual Salary : $110,000
  • Mileage Reimbursement Provided

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) for students with behavioral referrals
  • Observe students in classroom and school settings
  • Develop and recommend evidence-based behavior intervention plans
  • Provide ongoing training to school staff and parents on :
  • Proactive behavioral strategies
  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • De-escalation techniques
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote early intervention
  • Adapt to changing caseloads across K–12 school sites

    • Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field (Required)
  • BCBA Certification (Required)
  • Minimum 1 year of school-based ABA experience (Preferred)
  • Experience with Autism and implementing ABA programs in a K–12 setting
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and training facilitation skills
