Key Responsibilities of a Senior Consultant
Ability to mentor consultants / associate consultants and motivate a successful team behavior
Assessing clients' problems critically, structuring analyses, applying analytical frameworks, and conceptualizing strategy development
Developing and maintaining knowledge of industry landscape and trends
Supporting internal practice development and business development activities
Collaborate with team and clients to define long-term vision, goals, and strategies
Demonstrate strong consulting and advisory skillset including analytical capabilities, ability to synthesize content and translate it into sound recommendations and deliverables
Lead or be a team member of Supply Chain transformation projects with large client organizations
Simplify and bring clarity to challenging situations, models, and issues to create structured actions and recommendations
Test and present insights and recommendations to clients
Demonstrate ability to drive blended teams of management consultants, junior team members, technology, data analysts, and implementation specialists to deliver according to plan (scope, quality, and schedule)
Mentor and coach others to deliver quality results and promote others' professional development
Master of PowerPoint, Excel, and new forms of delivery
Soft Skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to architect an end state integrated solution to meet business and functional requirements
Ability to manage both business and IT client stakeholders, including managing to Director level and above
Ability to lead a team, including multiple workstreams and both functional and technical tracks
Ability to articulate and present different points of view to different audiences
Ability to communicate with both business and IT
Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities
Time management skills are a must, along with the ability to be flexible and creative
