About The Position

Summary : The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is responsible for preparing the operating room, instruments, supplies, and equipment needed for surgical procedures. The CST works closely with surgeons, nurses, and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and sterile operations, anticipating the needs of the surgical team throughout each procedure.

Responsibilities :

• Review surgical schedules, procedures, and patient information.
• Prepare the operating room by setting up sterile fields, instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Verify the functionality and sterility of all instruments and devices.
• Select and prepare surgical instrumentation, suture, and supplies based on case type and surgeon preference.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping as needed.
