We’re Hiring – Gas Management Support Lead (Application Manager Services / AMS) | SoCal Gas | Remote + Travel Our client, SoCal Gas , is seeking a highly skilled Techno-Functional Lead to provide Application Maintenance Services (AMS) for Gas Operations and Billing applications.
This role involves close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders in Los Angeles, as well as coordination with offshore teams.
Role :
- Gas Management Support Lead – AMS Location : Remote + 1 Week Travel to Los Angeles, CA Duration : 12+ Months Contract Position Summary : The selected candidate will lead AMS support for Gas Operations, ensuring SLA compliance, application stability, and effective coordination between onsite and offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead end-to-end AMS support for Gas Measurement & Management applications Manage incident tickets, service requests, and enhancements (SLA adherence) Perform root cause analysis & drive system reliability improvements Provide technical leadership in Full Stack Java, SQL, JavaScript, Oracle, DB2, Python, AWS Partner with business users and IT stakeholders to deliver effective solutions Coordinate and oversee offshore teams for timely, high-quality delivery Communicate operational performance reports to senior stakeholders Ensure Tier-1 critical systems remain stable, secure, and compliant Required Skills & Experience : 8+ years IT experience with North America Utilities Gas Operations support Strong functional knowledge of Gas Measurement, Billing, and Operations Technical expertise : Java, SQL, JavaScript, Oracle, DB2, Python, AWS Proven experience in Application Maintenance / Production Support Strong onsite-offshore coordination skills Excellent communication & stakeholder management This is a great opportunity to work on mission-critical applications in the Utilities domain with high visibility and impact. 📩 If you’re interested or know someone who would be a fit, DM me or share your resume.Powered by JazzHR
