Position Overview
A leading hospital system in the Phoenix metropolitan area is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB / GYN Hospitalist to join its dynamic Labor & Delivery team. This is a purely inpatient role —no clinic duties, no home call—designed for physicians who prefer structured hospital-based practice with consistent scheduling.
You’ll work in a busy, high-acuity L&D environment equipped with advanced obstetric technology and supported by a robust multidisciplinary team, including neonatology, anesthesia, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists.
Scheduling Options
- Standard : 7 in-house 24-hour shifts per month
- Alternate : 12-hour day or night shifts (flexible, based on provider preference and departmental needs)
- No outpatient clinic responsibilities or take-home call
Compensation & Benefits

Manage both low- and high-risk labor and deliveriesPerform cesarean sections, vaginal births, and emergent gynecologic proceduresProvide OB / GYN inpatient consultations and emergency department evaluationsCollaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and allied health professionalsDocument care promptly and accurately in the EMRParticipate in quality improvement and patient safety initiativesQualifications
Required :
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institutionBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & GynecologyCompletion of an ACGME-accredited OB / GYN residencyActive Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain prior to startPreferred :
