HR Generalist
We are seeking a detail-driven, service-oriented HR Generalist with strong experience in HR operations and benefits administration to support our growing North America employee population (approx. 1,500 employees). In this role, you will be a key contributor to the day-to-day operational excellence of the HR function, ensuring employees have a seamless, high-quality experience across their lifecyclefrom onboarding through offboarding.
You will support critical processes related to benefits, compliance, HR systems, employee data, reporting, and policy execution. This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys problem-solving, building efficient workflows, and supporting a fast-paced, tech-focused organization.
What You'll Do :
Manage day-to-day HR operational activities including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and employee data updates.
Maintain high data integrity across systems including Workday and other HR platforms.
Support HR process improvements and help standardize workflows across North America.
Respond to employee inquiries with a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and service.
Partner with Payroll to ensure timely, accurate processing of employment changes and data transfers.
Assist in policy interpretation, documentation updates, and compliance-related tasks.
Benefits Administration
Support the administration of all North American benefit programs including health, dental, vision, disability, FMLA / leave programs, retirement plans, commuter benefits, and wellbeing initiatives.
Lead coordination of benefits enrollment periods (annual enrollment, new hire enrollment, qualifying life events).
Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits questions and issue resolution.
Work with external benefits brokers, vendors, and carriers to support escalations, audits, and process updates.
Assist with benefits reporting, data audits, invoices, and compliance filings.
Systems & Reporting
Execute HR transactions within Workday (or relevant HRIS) with accuracy and timeliness.
Support configuration needs, testing, and enhancement projects in partnership with the HRIS team.
Prepare standard HR reports and dashboards to support leadership insights and compliance needs.
Help maintain digital employee files and ensure proper documentation storage.
Employee Support & Experience
Deliver exceptional employee support while reinforcing HR policies, guidelines, and best practices.
Assist with HR communications related to benefits, policy changes, org updates, and program launches.
Support new hire orientation and employee engagement activities as needed.
What You Bring :
3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in HR operations, benefits, or HR coordination roles.
Experience supporting U.S. and / or Canadian benefit programs and leave administration.
Strong working knowledge of HR processes, compliance basics, and employee data management.
Experience with Workday (or similar HRIS) is highly preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
