Job description

The Slanted Door – Napa is hiring a bartender. We are looking for a team player with an open mind and who pays exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to make people happy, and have thorough food, wine & spirits knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Serve our guests with excellence, providing attentive and friendly service
  • Prepare and serve craft cocktails with precision and creativity
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of liquor and beverage menu
  • Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
  • Collaborate with the team to create a positive and efficient work environment
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene and adhere to all health and safety regulations
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a bartender in an upscale casual establishment
  • Extensive knowledge of liquor and craft cocktails
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively and maintain attention to detail in a high-volume environment
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends and holidays - Must work weekends.
  • Food Handler & RBS Certified
  • E-Verify participation. EOE, FCO compliant
