Job Title : Foreclosure Paralegal
Location : Kansas City MO 64112
Salary / Payrate : $60K-$75K annually and AWESOME benefits!!!
Work Environment : Hybrid (2 days WFH AFTER 90 day ramp up period)
Term : Permanent / Fulltime
Bachelor’s degree required : YES and a Paralegal Certificate
Referral Fee : AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired
- Experience with the creditor side in the state of Kansas required!

Responsibilities
Assisting attorneys in managing high-volume caseload of recovery matters, including tracking case progress, deadlines, and court datesDocument review and analysis to identify relevant facts and legal issuesReview, organize, and summarize various types records and other case-related documentsAll aspects of Judicial and Non-Judicial foreclosures for Missouri and Kansas, from intake through sale completionPost foreclosure actions such as evictions, interpleaders and deficiency suitsDrafting of demand letters and debt validation noticesDraft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests and responsesMaintain and update case files, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and timelyEffectuating and overseeing service of legal processDiscovery, as applicablePost judgment enforcement to include skip tracing, asset searches, garnishments, liens, and other enforcement actionsEnsure all collection activities comply with federal, state, and local laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)General litigation supportPrepare exhibits and other materials for hearings, mediations, and trialsWork with CaseAware softwareJob Requirements
4 Year Degree in Legal Studies or 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree with a Paralegal CertificateKnowledge of legal principles and practices at a level normally acquired through formal paralegal trainingAbility to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraintsAbility to review, organize, analyze, and summarize facts and documentsExcellent communication and writing skillsAdvanced knowledge in Microsoft ProductsProficient in document management and case management softwareAbility to travel to private and public buildings, locally or nationwide, via private or public transportation to assist attorney in representing clients
