What You Will Do
As a Solutions Engineer (Product Expert) - Housing, you will play a key post-sales role across the company's four primary product lines : Automated Onboarding, Leasing, Resident, and Platform. This role bridges technical implementation with client experience, ensuring customers get maximum value from the platform.
You will :
- Act as the product expert across one or more post-sales product lines
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Operations on implementations, launches, and customer success initiatives
- Manage multiple client engagements, including requirement-gathering sessions and stakeholder communication
- Use SQL and BI tools to support data analysis, implementation health, and reporting
- Respond to customer queries using tools like Postman and DataDog (no day-to-day coding required)
- Take ownership of solving client issues with high autonomy and urgency
- Contribute to internal tooling improvements and scalable onboarding playbooks
- Help shape the future of the Solutions Engineering team as the company grows
Ideal Candidate Background
3-7 years of experience in technical post-sales roles (e.g., solutions engineering, technical project management, product operations) in a SaaS or startup environmentProficient in SQL for data troubleshooting and analyticsHands-on experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and support systems like Zendesk, JiraComfortable using tools such as Postman , LogRocket , DataDog , or similar platformsStrong interpersonal skills, able to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholdersProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under defined timelinesExperience directly interfacing with clients in implementation or support contextsComfortable working onsite in New York City (4-5 days / week)Preferred
Background in a STEM discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, or MathematicsExperience at Series A / B startups or early-stage environmentsFamiliarity with BI tools like Looker, Power BI, or TableauAble to read and understand basic code (bonus)Minimum 2+ years tenure in prior roles (no job hoppers)Compensation and Benefits
