An OP cancer treatment facility is seeking a hematology / oncology physician associate for locum tenens coverage.

About the Clinician's Workday
The position is expected to start in January or February and will be a full-time, ongoing assignment lasting six months or longer. It is primarily clinic-based with occasional hospital rounding. The schedule is 40 hours per week, offering 5x8s or 4x10s for APPs and 5x8s for MDs and DOs. Call and weekend coverage are minimal, focused mainly on clinic responsibilities. The daily patient volume ranges from 15 to 20. The EMR and treatment planning system used is Mosaiq. The team includes five experienced oncologists, strong RN and administrative support, a full phone triage staff, four nurse practitioners (three seeing patients and one handling infusion orders), and one radiation oncologist. Board certification and an active state license are required to submit candidates.
