Lead Civil Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee and coordinate our project teams in crafting detailed designs for civil engineering projects. Your role will be crucial in ensuring project requirements and deadlines are met effectively.

Salary Range : $120,000 - $165,000 annually. Pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Location Options : Flexible work arrangements available, including Remote, Hybrid, or in-office at our Syosset NY, Princeton NJ, or Newark NJ locations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Communicate client-set deadlines and organize teams to meet those deadlines efficiently.
• Develop detailed designs for urban and rural roadways, highways, and stormwater management systems by analyzing material tests and other engineering data.
• Conduct thorough condition surveys and inspections of facilities for design development and contract documents.
• Maintain project budgets, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
• Calculate load and grade requirements, ensuring accurate design specifications.
• Review survey reports, maps, and governmental regulations to guide project design.
• Identify environmental risks and develop comprehensive risk management strategies.
• Analyze traffic patterns and environmental conditions, planning for project impacts.
• Provide expert technical guidance to clients and team members.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss proposals and project progress.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success.
