Charleston Nursing Job Details Location : Charleston, SC 29425 (South Carolina nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 16 / 2026) Nursing Shift : 3x12-hour night shifts (19 : 00 – 07 : 30), 36 hours / week Float Pool : Float to Med / Surg units at Main Hospital and Ashley River Tower Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Rotation : Required Charting System : EPIC Scrub Color : Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal Blue bottoms Estimated Weekly Salary : $1420 - $1530 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State / Compact RN License (or proof of application) BLS certification required Experience with adult patient populations Ability to float between Med / Surg units as needed Strong clinical skills in isolation precautions, IV management, oxygen administration, and rapid response / code teams Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients across multiple Med / Surg units Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor patient responses Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely clinical documentation Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed Maintain infection control and isolation precautions Provide compassionate support to patients and families Adapt to varying patient ratios and unit assignments Why Choose Charleston?
