Advanced UX Researcher
Job Summary
The mobility industry is in the middle of a once in a lifetime transition. DENSO is building a CX (Customer Experience) team in Silicon Valley to lead the CX / UX research and development for new mobility products / Business.
This role is for a Lead UX Researcher position in the team reporting to the CX Manager. You will be responsible for understanding of customer behaviors, problems and opportunities, ideation of ideal CX, the management and the execution of research projects, and contribution to the CX strategy.
The product categories are mobility-related products / services, including infrastructure / system of transportation, energy and etc.
but not limited to conventional automotive HMI in vehicle.
This is a position located in Silicon Valley.
Responsibilities :
- Plan, conduct and manage user research and usability studies by yourself or in collaboration with external vendors to identify customer needs and customer experience gaps.
- Analyze customer data from internal systems and external studies to identify customer needs and customer experience gaps.
- Collaborate with UX Designers to propose system solutions, design concepts, and define the principles, personas, journey maps and use cases for the project.
- Contribute to the creation and the alignment of the CX strategy for North America and globally.
- Coaches and trains less experienced UX Researchers and Designers.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- 5-8 Years of relevant experience required.
- Master’s Degree in Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Social Studies, Anthropology, Interface / Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field. PhD preferred.
- Passion for customer experience of society as a whole, especially related to mobility and automobile.
- Willingness to learn and be curious on new product domains and skills.
- Strategic thinking to make the research activities valuable in the context of product and business development.
- Knowledge and experience of user research methodologies such as usability tests, focus group interviews, observational study, quantitative study, diary study.
Salary $124,000-$151,000.
