Mechanical Designer
We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Designer with a solid background in manufacturing and machining. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys solving complex design challenges, and can confidently drive projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Lead mechanical design efforts for custom automation equipment, from initial concept through final build.
Create detailed mechanical designs using SolidWorks and PDM.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source components and manage project timelines.
Provide hands-on support on the shop floor—debugging, troubleshooting, and assisting with equipment builds.
Work closely with controls engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Design and support systems involving cylinders, sensors, and small to medium-sized equipment.

Qualifications
5+ years of mechanical design experience, ideally in custom equipment or automation.
2+ years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks.
2+ years of experience in new product development.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00 / hr.
