Animatronic Purchasing Admin

LF Studios specializes in the design and fabrication of animatronic figures, sculpted elements, exhibits and interactive experiences. Our work can be found in leading theme parks, museums, science centers, and branded spaces all over the world.

Position Overview :

• The Purchasing Admin is responsible for supporting the design and engineering team in purchasing all machined components, hardware, and off-the-shelf components.
• The Purchasing Admin will be the main line of communication between LF Studios, and our manufacturing vendors. It will be critical to keep an open line of communication, understanding capacity, identify potential bottlenecks, and flag delays to the project team.
• This role will utilize part drawings and CAD to receive quotes for components.
• This role will track all purchased components through their procurement process using Excel Spreadsheets. It will be necessary to display tracking information in a way to allow other departments to understand and react to the data.
• Ensure standards are understood and withheld between all vendors including providing material certifications, hitting required tolerances, ensuring the timeline is met.
• General procurement and receiving support as needed to keep the process running smoothly.
