American Roofing & Waterproofing is currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as a New Construction Estimator.
This full-time position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Please note, this is not a remote job.Duties and Responsibilities :
- Estimate costs for new construction projects
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates
- Review construction plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities
- Attend site visits and meetings to gather information for accurate estimates
- Prepare and submit bids to clients in a timely manner
- Update and maintain database of project estimates
- Provide support to project teams as needed
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Procore or PlanSwift
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
