We are seeking a Cardiovascular & Thoracic Physician Assistant for a 24-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia. This opportunity begins on Nov 5, 2025, with 24 / 7 call coverage and 7a-7a shifts. The ideal candidate will assist in vein harvesting, provide clinic and inpatient rounding, and work alongside a CT surgeon in the CVOR as First Assist.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide 24 / 7 call coverage as part of the cardiovascular and thoracic teamSee patients in the clinic settingRound on inpatientsWork in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) with the CT surgeonPerform vein harvesting during procedures and function as First AssistAdditional Information
Must hold a current Virginia licenseAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications requiredRequired board certifications : Cardiac Surgery Certification - Adult (CSC) and CardiologyExperience with eClinicalWorks EMR preferredMust have experience in vein harvestingBenefits
