  • Position Summary :

    • We’re looking for an experienced and passionate

  • Cosmetology Instructor
  • who specializes in broader beauty disciplines including multicultural hair care, cutting, coloring, styling, and skin and nail care. The ideal candidate will help attract a diverse student body and clientele, delivering comprehensive education that extends beyond natural hair.
  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Teach cosmetology theory and practical applications related to
  • a variety of hair textures and styles
  • , including straight, wavy, curly, and coily hair.
  • Guide students in mastering
  • cutting, coloring, chemical services, skincare, and nail techniques
  • across diverse beauty needs.
  • Collaborate with our current natural hair instructors to create an integrated curriculum that respects all beauty traditions.
  • Help attract and retain clients from a wide range of backgrounds.
  • Mentor and motivate students to meet state board requirements and exceed industry expectations.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts by showcasing your expertise in multicultural beauty services.
  • Qualifications :
  • Active Cosmetology Instructor License in Washington State (or eligibility for reciprocity).
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with
  • diverse hair types and beauty services
  • Passion for
  • education, inclusivity
  • , and cultural competence in beauty.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to help grow both the student body and client roster through
  • community engagement and outreach
