Job Description :

  • Manage the CNA team :

Oversee CNA scheduling and other daily operations

  • Train / mentor new hires
  • Provide ongoing training as needed
  • Assist management with interviewing & hiring new CNA team members
  • Provide operations reports to management as required
  • Patient treatment required on an as-needed basis, depending on the staff needs / availability.
  • Manage Activities alongside the Activities Director :

    • Under the direction of the Activities Director, carries out individual and group activities that mee the functional levels of the residents using task segmentation, verbal prompts, set-up assistance, physical assists, and demonstrations

  • Maintains / cleans activity equipment and supplies. Maintains activity space in a clean orderly manner.
  • Seeks and identifies ways to support residents' activity needs and preferences, routines and choices.

  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
  • Adaptable, innovative
  • Must have an active Utah CNA license
  • 2+ years of CNA experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
  • High School Diploma
  • Solid knowledge of long-term care local, state, and federal laws and guidelines
  • Love for the geriatric population
