JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Experience :
1. Required Education Qualifications High school graduate minimum; college / university courses preferred.
2. Preferred Qualifications - experience in the use of laboratory test methods and instrumentation. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products, primarily the use of word processing and Excel spreadsheets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Hands-on analytical testing skills
- Maintain a calibration program for all lab equipment
- Maintain lab analytical techniques and safety / regulatory requirements
- Manage test results and distribute to appropriate departments
- Work closely with team members, providing effective solutions to support operations
- Adherence to regulatory requirements
- Update and maintain the lab safety manual and MSDS / PDS documents
- Ensures the lab is clean & organized on a daily basis so that it is always safe and shows well during customer and agency visits / audits'
