Provider Type : Physician Request Type : Locum Tenens Coverage Type : Call Only Practice Setting : Inpatient Scheduling & Shifts : Patient Load : 2-6 patients per shift, depending on the volume and patient needs. Bed Capacity : 10 beds in the pediatric department. Rounding : Both in the morning and evening. Holidays Covered : 4th of July Thanksgiving Day New Year's Day Memorial Day Christmas Day Labor Day Requirements : Board Certification : Must be board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics. Licensure : No specific licensure requirement to bid, but a valid state license is required. Hospital Privileges : Not required, allowing for a faster start time. Admissions : Yes, the provider will be required to admit patients. Temporary Privileges : Available to expedite the start date. Certifications Required : PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is required. ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS are not required. Additional Information : EMR System : MediTech, experience with this system is preferred but not required. Support & Collaboration : You will work alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, with full support from nursing staff, pediatric specialists, and other healthcare providers. Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : 7-10 days, allowing for a quick onboarding process. Multiple Providers : The facility is open to accepting multiple providers for this role.
