State Licensed Senior Counsel

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel / Associate General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

Provide analysis and counsel on legal matters, including pre-litigation disputes and consumer regulatory issues

Oversee litigation strategy and manage outside counsel for legal matters

Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) Degree and membership in good standing in a state bar association

6-8 years of experience in litigation, with at least 2 years in financial services or tech industries

Deep understanding of consumer regulatory issues related to consumer lending or servicing

Experience with NDAs and commercial agreements preferred

Familiarity with state and federal privacy laws and regulations preferred
