Job Summary
The Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA) is a cabinet-level agency within the District of Columbia government, committed to the safety, permanence, and well-being of children and families residing in the District of Columbia. Charged with protecting child victims and those at risk of abuse and neglect, CFSA fosters collaborations within its administrations to deliver exceptional family-focused services to the community and its residents.
This position is located in the Child Information System Administration (CISA), Office of the Deputy Director for Administration (ODDA), Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA). The purpose of the position is to provide mastery level integration services, engineering and operational assistance towards planning, building, and maintaining enterprise grade software applications, infrastructure, and technology services for internal staff, external partners, and community members. The incumbent will use expertise in the support of solution design, development, implementation, and maintenance.

Scrum Master Certification gained from Project Management Institute or Scrum Alliance is highly preferred.
Supervisory and Managerial Authority
Under general administrative direction, the supervisor outlines the assignments by broadly defined missions, objectives, priorities, and general timelines. The incumbent independently plans and implements the assignment, determines the most appropriate principles, practices, and methods to apply in all phases of the assignment; and, based on knowledge of the overall functions and projects, sets priorities and deadlines, and implements accordingly. The incumbent keeps the supervisor informed of progress; discusses policy issues and potentially controversial issues and makes recommendations. Completed work is reviewed for soundness of overall approach, effectiveness in meeting requirements, and producing expected results.
Work Environment : The work is sedentary. The work is performed in office settings. The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions. Some employees may occasionally be exposed to uncomfortable conditions in such places as research and production facilities
Tour of Duty : Monday Friday, 8 : 15am- 4 : 45pm

Position Designation : This position is deemed as security sensitive and emergency per DPM Chapters 4 (Suitability) and 12 (Essential and Emergency). The candidate / incumbent is subject to criminal background check, traffic records check, and consumer credit check (as applicable), reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol test, and post-accident or incident drug and alcohol test.
