Job Details :
Under the general direction of the Credentialing and Audit Manager, the Home Infusion Audit Specialist facilitates the processing of provider credentialing applications, contracts, quality, and payer audits.
Responsibilities
Effectively prioritize and complete all assigned tasks.
Review received applications / contracts for completeness.
Log application / contract information into appropriate tracking databases.
Follow up with providers and contracted agencies for outstanding documents needed to complete the credentialing / contracting process.
Assist with processing of provider data change requests.
Complete payer audits in a timely manner and before deadline.
Perform quality audit checks as needed.
Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies / behaviors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience in a business environment required.
Must be employed, in good standing.
Prefer minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle environment, specifically home infusion.
Competence in Microsoft Office products.
Working knowledge of basic medical terminology required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Competence in Microsoft Office required, including Excel, Access, and Word.
Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
