Pennsylvania Licensed Medical Coder

A company is looking for a Coder - Medical Coding (work from home Pennsylvania resident).

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze medical records to identify diagnoses and procedures for coding

Translate diagnostic and procedural phrases into coded form using Encoder software

Assist in training new coding staff and ensure compliance with coding guidelines

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required

Medical Billing and Coding diploma for Coder Level I

Minimum one certification required for Coder Level II or III (e.g., CPC, CRC, RHIT)

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required

Experience may include a combination of work experience and completed specialty training program
