Must-Have :

• Graduated from an approved program
• Microbiology experience preferred; gram stains, planting cultures, and blood cultures required
• Able to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient communication skills
• Knowledge of Covid regulations, including PPE and isolation room protocols
• Willingness to work holidays on a rotating basis

Description :

A critical access hospital is seeking qualified Medical Technologists or Medical Laboratory Technicians for a 13-week assignment.

Candidates must have graduated from an approved program.

Shifts will be 3-12 hours, rotating weekends (usually every 5th weekend).

There is no call required for this position.

Candidates may fill in Thursday night shifts and have the option to pick up any vacancies left by regular staff.

Experience with Microbiology is preferred; candidates must be capable of performing gram stains, planting cultures, and blood cultures.

Candidates must be proficient in phlebotomy and able to conduct Blood Bank testing.

Holiday work will be required on a rotating basis.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Must be capable of working independently and communicating proficiently with other staff.

The facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts within the 12-week duration.
