DE Licensed Mortgage Underwriter

A company is looking for a Sr. Mortgage Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Review and underwrite loan files for compliance with company guidelines

Approve or decline loans within assigned authority and communicate decisions effectively

Analyze loan documentation to identify potential fraud and ensure appraisal standards are met

Required Qualifications

DE and / or SAR / LAPP designation required

Minimum of five years of experience as a mortgage underwriter

Experience in underwriting USDA, VA, FHA, and Conventional loans

High school diploma or equivalent required

Excellent experience with Encompass software
