We are seeking a Product Development Engineer II - who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will design, develop, and support the manufacturing of new products from concept through production launch. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet performance, quality, and safety standards while staying on schedule and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop products, subassemblies, and components using SolidWorks 3D CAD software.
Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure efficiency, scalability, and quality.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, BOMs, ECRs, and assembly instructions.
Prepare part and assembly drawings using GD&T standards.
Develop fixtures, tools, and process improvements to support in-house manufacturing.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Production, and Quality to achieve project goals.
Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to company safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of mechanical design engineering experience.
Proficiency in SolidWorks (CAD, PDM, and Simulation / FEA).
Experience with design documentation, quality standards, GD&T, and ERP systems.
Hands-on experience assembling and troubleshooting mechanical systems.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Pay Range
A reasonable estimate of the salary pay range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
