We’re looking for a Civic Project Architect who has civic project experience and is motivated by designing spaces that foster trust, safety, and connection within the communities they serve.

What You’ll Lead :
- Direct the planning, design, and execution of municipal and public safety projects from concept through construction.
- Serve as the day-to-day client contact, guiding conversations around scope, schedule, and budget while balancing design quality and performance.
- Collaborate with city agencies, facility managers, and engineering partners to deliver responsive, buildable solutions.
- Oversee project documentation, detailing, and technical accuracy across all phases.
- Mentor design teams, fostering a collaborative environment that values precision and creativity.
- Apply knowledge of zoning, accessibility, energy codes, and public building requirements to ensure compliance and long-term efficiency.
- Participate in interviews and community engagement meetings, representing the design vision and the firm’s commitment to civic excellence.
What You Bring :
10+ years of architectural experience, part of which includes work on civic, municipal, or institutional projects.Professional degree in Architecture; architectural registration in Minnesota (AIA).Proficiency in Revit, knowledge of construction documentation, and comfort managing multi-disciplinary teams.A talent for balancing big-picture design thinking with detail-oriented execution.Familiarity with public sector design processes, including permitting and funding requirements.Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills.What You’ll Gain :
