About the Role

The Company is in search of a Managing Director to provide strategic leadership and ensure the financial and business performance of its operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing company policies, developing strategic plans, and creating initiatives to enhance market opportunities and mitigate risks. This role demands a visionary leader with a strong background in general management, particularly in the transport, automobile, heavy machinery, or industrial technology industries, and a proven track record in driving transformation and growth.

Key responsibilities for the Managing Director include defining operational goals, managing workload in line with site strategy, and overseeing quality management systems. The role also involves maintaining compliance with safety, security, and EHS standards, as well as fostering stakeholder and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years' experience in general management and full P&L responsibility. Strong people management skills, commercial acumen, and excellent leadership and communication abilities are essential. An international mindset with cultural awareness and language skills is also a prerequisite, with certifications in executive leadership, project management, and Lean Six Sigma being preferred.
