What You Need to Know (Job Overview) : We are seeking a proven strategic leader with extensive experience in quality, compliance, and operational management within the blood banking industry. This role is accountable for ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, driving process improvements, and leading cross-functional initiatives to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
The salary range for this position is approximately $250,000. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned with the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have, and a comparison to other employees already in this role.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications) : Master's degree required. Minimum 15 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. 10 years of management experience. Ability to shape, lead, motivate, and develop leadership teams. ASQ Certification is a plus. Ability to work on a diverse team of Executives. Frequent travel is required up to 50%. Extensive experience in quality / compliance management and operational leadership within the blood banking or healthcare industry. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and manage complex projects. Proficiency in process / system design, data analysis, and trend reporting. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
