Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day payroll functions, including new staffing set up, commission calculation, quarterly bonus analysis, PTO accrual & reconciliations.
- Oversee Inventory processes, including weekly verifications, review & approve inventory adjustments and overall variance.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly reporting.
- Assist in period-end close, as related to inventory & payroll, ensure accurate general ledger representation, and complete balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls across AZ operations.
- Interact with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Manage office team of 2-3 associates, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Maintain office hours of 7 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday (with flexibility to cover staff as needed).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management, or equivalent work experience required.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and SAP.Strong ability to track and measure financial data and effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.Prior Staff Accountant experience strongly desired.Ability to work evenings and weekends during the month-end close as required.Associates at Canteen are offered many fantastic benefits.
