Must-Have : Previous assignments of more than 8 weeks in similar facilities are preferred.

Description :

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

The position requires a commitment to work 3x12-hour shifts during the day.

Nurses will be expected to work 2 of the 3 major holidays.

Candidates must have at least 1.5 years of experience in a high acuity / high census PICU.

Call and weekend requirements are included; floating to NICU and CVICU may be required.

Certifications needed include ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Experience with patients from birth to 18 years of age is essential.

Skills required include arterial line management, conscious sedation, and care of ventilated patients.

Experience with various pediatric diagnoses, including metabolic, respiratory, and oncological patients, is necessary.

Travelers with a history of extensions in high-volume, high-acuity facilities will be viewed favorably.

The role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams.

Candidates must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
