Inventory Control Manager
Responsibilities :
- Manage the CDC inventory and cycle count program
 - Provide support to other locations with inventory control and cycle counting
 - Manage vendor returns including recycling returns
 - Manage customer returns
 - Manage the scrap wire process
 - Manage Stock / Non-Stock / Damage-Defective Returns areas
 - Manage UPS / FEDEX / LTL order fulfillment and outbound shipments
 - Manage CDC yearly physical inventories / audit
 - Responsible for maintaining and or approving changes to cycle count or returns program
 - Evaluate and develop proper SOP's
 - Review, investigate and approve all inventory adjustments
 - Assist in the management of dead / obsolete inventory
 - Provide overall direction and coordination of the Inventory Control / Returns Department
 - Develop, implement, and manage proper inventory control procedures and processes to ensure inventory accuracy meets / exceeds goals
 - Examine, recommend, and implement systems, controls, procedures, and policies that improve inventory efficiency and accountability
 - Work collaboratively with a variety of departments including operations, accounting, purchasing, and sales
 - Establish and report on KPI's for the department and CDC warehouse
 - Recruit, hire, train, and deliver continuous coaching and skill development to Inventory Supervisors and team members
 - Maintain awareness of work status, progress, and priorities. Address concerns and perform disciplinary actions as required. Perform random checks on work being performed and analyze issues to ensure the integrity of the processes.
 - Other duties as needed or required
 
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of inventory management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of logistics experience with warehouse management systems, RF scanners and warehouse automation systems5+ years electrical distribution industry experience preferredGood / Excellent Computer SkillsMicrosoft Office experienceGood and dependable mathematic, verbal, and written communication skillsProven leadership and organizational skillsReliable, responsible, team player and a great work ethicStrong analytical skillsetWorking knowledge of standard Inventory Control Software platformsWhat We Offer You
