Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470-$1570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Proficiency with Cerner / Fetalink EMR systems

Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from Birmingham healthcare facility

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

L&D RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit

Monitor mothers and newborns, ensuring safety and comfort during labor and delivery

Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals

Accurately document patient care using Cerner / Fetalink EMR

Respond quickly to emergencies and follow established clinical protocols

Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
