Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Responsibilities :

Perform daily accounting tasks, including wire transfers, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations.

Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP standards.

Complete monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records for accounts payable and receivable.

Support the preparation of the quarterly National Credit Union Association (NCUA) Call Report.

Manage branch currency procurement and oversee branch deposits and miscellaneous other deposits.

Balance investment portfolios and maintain fixed asset records.

Assist with month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Provide accounting support for moderately complex financial operations and reporting.

Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflows and service levels.

Conduct detailed analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements :

Proven experience in accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.

Strong understanding of bank reconciliations, journal entries, and account reconciliation processes.

Familiarity with month-end close procedures and financial reporting requirements.

Knowledge of GAAP principles and their application in day-to-day accounting tasks.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines with attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
